Consultation Options

Standard Nutritional Therapy Consultation

This is suitable for anyone wanting to overhaul their diet to help support their well-being and/or anyone with chronic health concerns.  Small changes may be all that is needed, however, complex cases may benefit from a more in-depth approach that includes lab testing (see below). A standard nutritional therapy consultation consists of an initial consultation where we discuss your full health history and present situation, from which recommendations about diet, lifestyle and supplements can be made. At follow-ups, progress is reviewed and recommendations may be adjusted accordingly. This consultation is best carried out face-to-face as visual clues can help inform recommendations. A range of functional lab tests can also be ordered, depending on the individual.

Initial consultation (90 minutes): £75

Follow-up consultations (approx. 60 minutes): £45

Special offer: Initial consultations and 2 follow-ups for £150

Additional 3 months email support: £40

Between appointments, 1 email or call that takes less than 15 minutes to deal with will not be charged for, neither will any quick questions. Any further calls/emails, or calls/emails that take longer than 15 minutes to deal with will be charged at an hourly rate of £45.

Hair Mineral Tissue Analysis (HTMA) Program

This is a more in-depth approach compared to a standard consultation. By working with HTMA, we can look at levels of the main minerals in the body and make informed choices about mineral and vitamin recommendations. It can also suggest certain imbalances in the body that may need addressing. Using HTMA takes much of the guesswork out of a standard consultation and is recommended to anyone who would like to test, not guess – but who can’t afford a wide range of lab testing. Some additional testing may be recommended, depending on symptoms and affordability. The initial consultation will look at your health history and present symptoms, as well as the results from the HTMA and any lifestyle factors.

The package costs £194 and includes:

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (Trace Elements Lab)
  • Interpretation of HTMA
  • Initial consultation
  • 3 months email support

Additional follow-up consultations (60 minutes): £45

Bladder Health Package

This program is designed for women suffering from chronic bladder problems. By using a range of lab tests and looking at diet and lifestyle in-depth we can search for the root causes of your problems. Please note that the program will take a certain level of commitment, so it is not suitable for people looking for a quick-fix or magic pill or those only able to make minimal changes to their diet and lifestyle.

We will assess nutrient imbalances using a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis and look for any imbalances of microbes in the bladder and gut. We will look at your health history in depth and use all of the above to design an individualized therapeutic program. You will also benefit from 3 months email support. If you’ve already done some of the tests included in the package, or if you live outside the UK, prices will be adjusted accordingly – please contact me for details.

The package costs £454 and includes:

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (Trace Elements Lab)
  • Comprehensive Urine Test
  • Parasitology and Mycology (Parasites, Yeasts and Moulds) (UK only, please discuss options if abroad)
  • Interpretation of Test results
  • Initial consultation
  • 3 months email support

Additional testing needed to provide a complete picture:

  • uBiome Gut Explorer (around £63)
  • Full iron panel (including Iron, Transferritin Saturation, Ferritin and Total Iron Binding Capacity (T.I.B.C.) and, if possible, a full blood count (ask your doctor or discuss private testing options with me – the cost is around £40)
  • Full thyroid panel (ask your doctor or discuss private testing options with me, the cost is around £60-80)

Other additional testing may be recommended.

N.B. I have put together what I believe to be the most cost-effective testing regimen. There are other advanced testing options available, such as metagenomic testing for the bladder and gut microbiome, which costs around £500-700 per test. Please discuss this option with me if interested.
