This easy to make DIY facial toner mist for oily skin uses apple cider vinegar (ACV) as its main ingredient. ACV is a multi-tasker. Not only is it a possible remedy for different symptoms when ingested but it also works really well in various homemade beauty products.

I have been using it as a toner for my blemish prone and oily skin. Although it doesn’t get rid of pimples once they’re there, I’ve noticed that it helps to keep my skin balanced, less oily and more exfoliated.

ACV helps the skin to find the right balance between dry and oily as skin is naturally acidic and ACV helps to regulate its pH. Further, ACV has antibacterial properties which help to keep pimples at bay. It also helps to exfoliate skin so it can breathe.

I spray this toner mist onto my face after washing it morning and night. Alternatively, you could dab it onto your face with a cotton pad. You could also add a few drops of essential oil such as tea tree to enhance the antibacterial effect.

It’s important to use distilled water as the mixture won’t last very long otherwise. Be careful not to get it into your eyes, it will sting!
